Smallville Saves Data - Lex

This is part 2 of my tabulation of frequently saved people on Smallville. Poor Lex. To know that something extraordinary happened to you, yet to have the person involved deny it. And yet, why so little trust? Why use unscrupulous people to investigate? Why not let it go? Ah, obsession is a dangerous mistress.


I'd appreciate comments and corrections, particularly if I've overlooked an episode. Thanks!

1	1-1 Pilot	lost control while driving and went off bridge, hitting Clark on the way. Clark tears roof off car, drags him to safety and admisters super-CPR	"I could have sworn I hit you."
2	1-8 Jitters	in Level 3, Earl's jitters weaken the catwalk and both are about to fall, Clark, despite being weakened by Earl's green K infection, pulls them to safety	"Adrenaline"
3	1-10 Shimmer	invisible Jeff wants to kill Lex for ignoring his sister's "love" but Clark intervenes by knocking him into some scaffolding	unconscious, but knows Clark helped
4	1-14 Zero	Amanda's brother tosses him off the balcony after a prolonged torture session. Clark (in bullet time) places a coach under to break the fall, disables the brother, leaves, then re-enters at normal speed	Probably very confused
5	1-15 Nicodemus	Pete, infected by Nicodemus, wants to shoot Lex for being behind the whole mess (indirectly true). Clark fakes agreement, knocks Lex out, then disables Pete	"What the hell"
6	2-2 Heat	First Jonathan, under Desirées spell, tries to shoot him, but Clark deactivates the bullet with heat vision. Then Desirée sets him on fire, which Clark handles with a classic drop and roll.	Probably very confused
7	2-7 Lineage	Rachel Dunleavy, frustrated that Lionel won't meet her demands, comes at tied-to-a-chair Lex with an axe. While trying to fight back, he tips over and falls unconsious. Clark arrives in time to stop the next blow and the axe shatters on him	unconscious, but knows Clark helped
8	2-19 Precipice	Tracking down the man who assaulted Helen to the railyard, Lex instead finds himself under the gun. Clark gives the train car a nudge to knock the villain off balance, allowing Lex to get the upper hand	may not realize what happened
9	3-3 Extinction	Van targets Lex as a meteor freak, Clark finds out and pushes Lex out of harm's way and blocks 2 bullets (PS: are these the bullets in Lex's room?)	didn't see it all but still must wonder
10	3-8 Shattered	Clark shelters him from Lionel, but Lex's drug-induced paranoia makes him threaten Clark. Morgan Edge tries to kill them both and Lex shoots him: Clark saves him from a crashing car and then runs away when too many witnesses arrive	Remembers... for a while
11	3-9 Asylum	I count this because Clark tried SO HARD, first by appealing to the doctor, then by actually going to Belle Reve to set Lex free. But Ian and Eric anticipate his arrival and attack him with green K, leaving Lex to Lionel's non existent mercy.	memories for past months erased
12	3-19 Memoria	Clark finds out that Lex is seeing Dr. Garner of Ryan infamy and warns him to stop, then goes to Lionel, who in turn betrays Clark who has to be saved by Lex. I count this because I don't think Dr Garner's experiements were safe for Lex given Garner's decidely dubious ethics.	remembers: angry at Clark's interference
13	4-5 Run	Lex made a deal with Bart's fence to recover the manuscript, then tries to turn the tables and call the police. Nearly killed for his trouble, Clark blurs in for the save	unconscious during the save
14	4-6 Transference	Dying Lionel planned to switch bodies with Lex, which would have meant Lex's death. But Clark intervened and got body switched instead. The results could have been deadly for everyone, but Martha helps save the day and Clark switches back.	remembers: confused by the strength Lionel displayed in Clark's body
15	4-8 Spell	Isabel / Lana casts "infinitas" spell, causing Lex to play piano "forever", or at least until Clark comes in and breaks the spell by shoving the piano across the room	dazed but remembers: grateful
16	4-9 Bound	Framed for an ex-lover's murder, then his ex-lover lawyer quits and is murdered, then his "I had a fiance" stalker kidnaps him & sets him on fire. Clark solves the mystery and stops the fire by creating a vortex.	unconscious for final save. grateful for the crime solve but also hurt Clark turned to Lionel
17	4-17 Onyx	Split into good Lex and evil Alex by a K-based experiment. Alex chains Lex to the wall, then goes after Clark with a green K ring after figuring everything out. Clark recombines them using heat vision to the green K ring into black K	Lex knows Clark saved him from Alex, if not exactly how.
18	5-11 Lockdown	Shot by former policeman who wants to expose the Black Ship. Clark arrives in search of Lana in time to stop Lex from bleeding to death	nothing remarkable
19	5-20 Fade	Graham tries to kill Lexana as a "favour" to Clark. Lex shoots him but Graham shoots back. Clark arrives in time to catch the bullet, then watches Lexana bond	probably confused about what happened to the bullet
20	6-1 Zod	Tricked by Brainiac into becoming Zod's Vessel, is saved when Clark uses Jor-El's crystal to extract Zod's phantom.	No memory of what happened
21	6-2 Sneeze	Trapped with Lana by a rogue minion of Ollie, sets off a fire while trying to escape. Clark, though ill with a PZ related cold, arrives just in time to blow the fire out.	Mystified
22	6-5 Reunion	Lex and Ollie are fighting over what happened with Duncan when Duncan's astral projection arrives to kill them both. Lex is knocked out and Ollie is about to be shot by his own electrical arrows when Clark arrives. Clark blocks the arrow and causes a feedback look that KO's Duncan.	Unconscious
23	6-7 Rage	Confronted by GA under the influence of the healing/agression drug, gets shot. Clark uses one of the last doses of the drug to save him	Mystified
24	6-18 Progeny	Controlled by Moira, Chloe shoots Lex to escape from 33.1. Clark arrives just in time to somewhat reluctantly push Lex out of the way of danger.	Mystified
25	6-19 Nemesis	Trapped underground with Clark in a kryptonite laced environment, they work together to get free. Lex loses balance while climbing out and Clark reaches down to save him (` la Jitters).	Main reaction was surprise that Clark was hurt
26	7-4 Cure	Confronts Knox when he realizes that the doctor he hired to cure meteor freaks is instead killing them. Lex shoots Knox who promptly comes back to life and attempts to return the favour. Clark intervenes and sends Knox flying into a transformer.	unconscious but knows Clark helped - surprised he would bother
27	7-7 Wrath	Confronted by a vengeful super-Lana, nearly strangled for his effrontery in kissing her and telling a few home truths. Clark intervenes in time to save him, but inadvertantly releases the remnants of Brainiac.	unconscious during save
28	7-11 Siren	Shoot out at Luthor mansion between Lex, Ollie and Dinah. Not sure if this counts because Clark didn't deflect the arrow at Lex's shoulder but instead stopped the bullet to Dinah's chest. But considering that Ollie would probably have gotten exceptionally violent if Dinah was killed, I'll give Clark credit for defusing the situation.	Probably angry he "missed" Ollie
