The icon meme

It's the fabulous icon meme!

1. Reply to this post, and I will pick five of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon glee.

Somewhat promiscuously I got tagged twice, by [livejournal.com profile] starry_dawn and [livejournal.com profile] twinsarein. So here goes:

This is by [livejournal.com profile] taliosi_x, part of a great set she created for Valentine's Day. It just makes me happy and a little mischeivous.

This is by [livejournal.com profile] ivory_kiss, based on a cap from Exposed. I love how embarrassed Clark is here.

These are both recent creations by [livejournal.com profile] duskwillow. I just love the expression on Lois's face in the first - one I've been known to adopt a time or two. Don't know how much I'll use them, but they sure are fun.

That's me! Its a shot taken in Egypt as I was exiting King Tut's tomb in the Valley of the Kings. Good memories (even though I promptly got sick that evening and wished I would die.)

These are both done by the fabulous [livejournal.com profile] rai_daydreamer. Rai doesn't make many icons but luckily was moved to create a few including the first by a line is a favorite author's story. Similarly, the second one is from a drawing for one of my favorite stories, and Rai kindly allowed me to create an icon from it.

This is by the formidable (in the french sense) [livejournal.com profile] lapetite_kiki and is only sharable during Easter so I'm currently using it as my default icon. It's so adorable!

The first is of the champion race mare Zenyatta, taken after she returned from victory in the Ladies Classic last year. An amazing performance. I tinkered a bit with the background to emphasise the lovely lines of her face. The second icon is from an amazing image of galaxy M74 in Pisces by the Hubble Space Telescope.
